How long does a website build take?
Most builds are completed within 2–4 weeks depending on the scope and how quickly you can provide content. Fixes typically take 1–2 weeks. I’ll give you a realistic timeline before we start — not an optimistic one that slips.
What do you need from me to get started?
Mainly your logo, any photos you have, and a clear sense of what you want the site to do. If you don’t have photos I can advise on affordable options. I’ll ask you the right questions to get what I need — you don’t need to arrive with a detailed brief.
Will I be able to update the site myself after launch?
Yes. Everything is built on WordPress which is straightforward to update. I’ll walk you through the basics at handover so you can update text, add photos, and make simple changes without needing to contact me for every small thing.
I’m not sure if I need a fix or a full build — how do I decide?
Fixes start from £500 and builds also start from £500. The exact price depends on the scope — how many pages, what functionality you need, and what’s involved. I’ll give you a fixed price after our first call so you know exactly what you’re committing to before you decide anything.
Do you offer ongoing support after the project?
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support as standard. After that I offer monthly support packages from £150/month for businesses that want someone on hand for updates, changes, and technical maintenance. No long-term contracts — monthly rolling.
What if I’m not happy with the result?
I’ve never had an unhappy client — but if something isn’t right, I’ll fix it. The 30 days of post-launch support is specifically for this. And if we’re genuinely not on the same page, I’d rather resolve it professionally than leave you stuck with something you’re not happy with.
