Is the audit right for you?
This IS for you if
- You have a WordPress site that isn't bringing in the enquiries it should
- You think something is holding back your Google rankings but don't know what
- Your site feels slow, or customers have said it looks odd on their phone
- You've been let down by agencies and want honest advice before spending more
- You run a local service business: a trade, clinic, salon, accountant, solicitor or similar
It's probably not for you if
- You don't have a website yet. A build will suit you better

What if I want to fix everything myself — is the audit still useful?
Absolutely — that’s exactly why the PDF action plan exists. Everything is written clearly enough to implement yourself or hand to any developer. Many clients fix things themselves using just the PDF and never work with me further. The audit is designed to be valuable on its own terms.
How is this different from a free tool like Google PageSpeed or Ahrefs?
Tools give you scores and generic suggestions. The audit gives you a real person explaining specifically why your site has the problem, what’s causing it on your particular setup, and what to do about it in the right order. It’s the difference between a reading from a machine and a consultation with an expert — both give you information, but only one tells you what it actually means for your business.
Will there be a hard sell to hire you at the end?
No. On the follow-up call I’ll mention what I could help with if it seems relevant — but I won’t push it, chase you, or make the experience awkward. Plenty of audit clients go on to fix things themselves or with another developer. That’s completely fine.
My site is quite small — is it worth auditing?
Small sites often have the most to gain. The problems are fixable quickly and the improvements are immediately visible. A 3-page site for a local tradesperson can go from invisible to page one with a handful of targeted changes — and those changes are exactly what the audit identifies.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Just your website URL and a brief note about your business and ideal customer. That’s it. I don’t need any logins or access to your site — I review it as a visitor sees it, then dig into the technical detail using professional tools.
What if I’m not happy with the audit?
If the audit doesn’t surface at least 3 specific, actionable improvements you can make to your website, I’ll refund you in full within 7 days of delivery. No awkward questions. I’ve never had to issue a refund — but I want you to buy with complete confidence.
