Websites for Restaurants & Cafés

The menu people actually check before they decide where to eat.

Someone deciding between you and the place next door checks three things on their phone: the menu, the hours, and whether they can book. Get any of those wrong or hard to find, and they’ve already picked somewhere else.

Why restaurant and Café websites are different

You're being compared to 2-3 other places, right now.

Nobody browses restaurant websites for fun — they’re stood between options, hungry, deciding in under a minute. Your site either answers “can I eat here, right now, and what will it cost” instantly, or they’ve already tapped back to the next result.

📋

A menu that's out of date or a PDF

An old PDF menu with last year’s prices, that won’t even open properly on a phone, is one of the fastest ways to lose a booking.

🕓

🕐 Wrong or missing opening hours

If your website and Google listing disagree on hours, people assume you’re closed rather than risk the trip.

📷

No photos, or bad ones

Food is a visual decision. No gallery, or dark, blurry phone photos, quietly pushes people to whoever’s Instagram looks better.

🍽️

No way to book a table

Making someone call during service to book, when the place next door has an instant online booking link, is an easy way to lose the table.

What you get

Answers the three questions instantly.

📃

A real, editable menu

Not a PDF — a proper page you can update yourself the moment a price or dish changes.

🍽️

Table booking that works

Linked to your existing booking platform, or a simple built-in request form if you don’t have one.

🕐

Hours that match your Google listing

Kept consistent everywhere, so nobody assumes you’re shut when you’re not.

📸

Real food photography

Properly shot, properly compressed so it still loads fast on someone’s phone signal.

📍

Local SEO built in

Google Business Profile and on-page setup so you show up for “near me” searches, not just regulars.

📱

Fast on mobile, always

Built for someone stood outside, deciding, on patchy signal — not a desktop demo.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you get in touch.

Yes — most booking platforms provide a widget or link that fits straight into the site. If you don’t already use one, we can talk through whether it’s worth adding versus a simpler booking request form, based on how you actually take bookings today.

As often as you like — the menu is built so you (or anyone on your team) can edit prices, add specials, or remove a dish in a couple of minutes, with no need to message me every time something changes. You can also look at my monthly website support plan which includes small content edits.

The menu structure supports allergen tags and dietary labels (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.) so it’s easy to keep accurate — but the actual allergen information and its accuracy is always your responsibility to confirm and maintain.
