Terms of Service
These terms cover any work you buy from me. They’re written in plain English so you know exactly what you’re agreeing to. By paying for a service or confirming a quote, you accept them.
Who you're dealing with
Kasam Khan Web Consulting is run by me, Kasam Khan. Email: hello@kasamkhan.co.uk.
My services are for businesses. If you're buying as a private individual, you also have your normal consumer rights, and nothing here takes those away.
What I offer

If something isn't in the quote or the service description, it isn't included. I'll always tell you the cost of anything extra before I do it.
Paying
- Audit: paid in full up front.
- Fix or Build: 50% deposit before I start. The rest is due before the site goes live.
- Monthly services: paid monthly in advance by card through Stripe.
- Invoices are due within 14 days. If a payment is late, I can pause the work until it's paid.
Cancelling and refunds
- Audit: if you cancel before I've started, you get a full refund. Once I've started the audit, it isn't refundable.
- Fix or Build: if you cancel after I've started, you pay for the work done so far. Your deposit covers that first.
- Monthly services: there's no minimum term. Give me 30 days' notice by email to cancel. No refunds for a month already started.
What I need from you
- Content, images and logins when I ask for them. Delays on your side move the finish date.
- Only content you have the right to use. You're responsible for text and images you send me.
- Feedback within 10 working days at each stage, so the project keeps moving.
Who owns what
Once you've paid in full, your website, its design and its content are yours. Until then, I keep ownership.
Themes, plugins and tools from other companies stay under their own licences. I keep the right to reuse my general methods, code snippets and know-how.
I may show your site in my portfolio and case studies. If you'd rather I didn't, just tell me.
Results and third parties
I'll do the work properly and tell you straight what I think will help. But nobody controls Google. I can't guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or sales, and anyone who does isn't being honest with you.
I'm not responsible for problems caused by your hosting company, Google, Meta, plugin makers or other third parties. I'll help you sort them where I can.
Liability
If something goes wrong because of my work, my total liability is limited to what you've paid me in the 12 months before the problem. I'm not liable for lost profits, lost business or other indirect losses.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow me to limit.

Disagreements
If there's a problem, email me first and I'll do my best to sort it out quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Changes
I may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in place when you bought the service.
