Websites for Accountants & Solicitors
Clients choose a firm before they ever pick up the phone.
Most people compare two or three firms online before calling anyone. An outdated site with a stock photo and a PDF brochure loses that comparison instantly — however good the advice behind it actually is.
- Fixed price, agreed upfront
- Built to look credible, not flashy
- Clear, jargon-free service pages
- Team & credentials, properly presented
- Secure enquiry forms, GDPR-conscious
- Professional design, no stock-photo feel
- Google Business Profile & local SEO setup
Why professional services sites are different
Nobody hires a solicitor or accountant on impulse.
Unlike calling a plumber for a leak, hiring an accountant or solicitor is a considered decision — people research first. Your website isn’t decoration; it’s the evidence they use to decide whether to trust you with their money or their legal problem.
🖼️
Stock photos of people in suits
Generic handshake photography reads as “template,” not “trustworthy.” Real photos of you and your actual team do more to build confidence than any design flourish.
📃
A wall of legal jargon
If a visitor can’t work out in 10 seconds whether you handle their specific problem, they’ll click back to Google and try the next result instead.
🔒
No visible credentials
Qualifications, regulatory body membership, years of experience — these need to be visible, not buried on a separate “about” page nobody clicks through to.
🚫
A contact form that feels risky
People sharing sensitive financial or legal details want to feel it’s handled properly. An unclear, unprofessional enquiry form quietly kills conversions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Before you get in touch.
Do you understand the compliance side (SRA, ICAEW, etc.)?
I’m not a compliance advisor, but I know what typically needs to appear (regulator details, complaints procedures, required disclosures) and build the site to accommodate it properly. You or your compliance contact review the specific wording — I make sure it’s presented clearly and doesn’t get buried.
Can you write the content, or do I need to provide it?
Either. Some clients provide their own copy and I focus purely on design and structure; others want help turning technical service descriptions into something a worried, non-expert visitor can actually follow. We agree this upfront so it’s reflected in the fixed price, not added as a surprise later.
My current site was expensive — why does it still look outdated?
Price paid and design quality often aren’t related — a lot of professional-services sites were built once, years ago, and never revisited as design norms moved on. A Website Audit (£197) will tell you exactly what’s dating it before you commit to a full rebuild.
